The short answer: the best Linktree alternative depends on what your bio link has to do. To sell products from your bio, look at Beacons. For a real one-page website on your own domain, Carrd is the cheapest way to get one. If you only need a few links, Instagram now lets you add up to five on your profile for free. And if you want honest numbers on who visits and taps, MiniSnip counts views and taps without the bots and app previews that inflate most dashboards.

Below: what Linktree's plans include today, why people move, and how each alternative compares.

Five cards: MiniSnip for a free page with taps counted without bots, Beacons for selling from your bio, Carrd for a one-page site on your own domain, Instagram's built-in links, and Linktree as the baseline.
Pick the link in bio tool by the job it has to do. Plans checked on 6 November 2026.

What Linktree includes in 2026

Linktree says it is used by more than 70 million people, and it is still the default link in bio. On 6 November 2026, its pricing page listed four plans. Prices below are Linktree's US prices; outside the US, the page shows prices in your local currency, and they can be quite different.

Plan Monthly Billed yearly What it adds
Free $0 $0 Unlimited basic links, email and phone sign-ups
Starter $8 $6 a month A personalised page, unlimited featured links, basic analytics
Pro $15 $12 a month Removes Linktree branding, custom designs, selling with 0% Linktree fees, mailing list integrations
Premium $35 $30 a month Link rules and routing, all-time analytics, data export, social post scheduling, AI tools

Why people look for a Linktree alternative

Most people who switch name one of these reasons:

  1. The branding. Removing the Linktree logo needs Pro, which is $15 a month or $144 a year.
  2. The numbers. Analytics are listed from Starter up, and all-time history and data export only on Premium. If you want to know which link earns its place, that gets expensive.
  3. The address. Your page lives at linktr.ee/yourname. A page on your own domain is easier to trust and stays yours.
  4. Selling. Creators who sell digital products compare fees, checkout and email tools, where others go further.
  5. They only need three links. For many people a full link in bio service is more than the job requires.

None of these make Linktree a bad choice. It is easy to use and well known. The alternatives below each do one thing better, or cost less for the same job.

1. MiniSnip: the alternative for honest numbers

MiniSnip is a link shortener with a free link-in-bio page at minisnip.com/u/yourname. The difference is in the counting. When someone shares your bio link in a chat, the app fetches the page to build a preview, and social networks send crawlers. Most tools count those as views. MiniSnip recognises them and leaves them out, so views and taps are people.

  • Free plan: up to 10 links, 5 themes (Midnight, Sunset, Forest, Paper and Ocean), a profile photo, a short bio and icons for Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok and your website. Each link can have an emoji, and you can switch a link off without deleting it.
  • Pro, $19/month: 50 links on the page, plus everything in the URL shortener: unlimited short links, 3 custom domains, a year of analytics and 5 team seats.
  • Enterprise, $99/month: unlimited links on the page.

Where Linktree is ahead: MiniSnip's page has no shop, email sign-up form or custom designs beyond its five themes. It is built for people who want a simple page and trustworthy numbers, not a storefront.

Tip: put a short link to your page in each profile, such as one for Instagram and one for TikTok, and you'll see which platform sends the most visitors in link analytics.

2. Beacons: the alternative for selling from your bio

Beacons combines a link in bio page with a store, an email list, a media kit and Instagram auto-replies.

  • Free plan: a customisable link in bio, unlimited digital products, affiliate links, 50 email sends a month and real-time analytics, with a 9% seller fee on sales.
  • Creator, $10/month ($8.33 billed yearly): a free custom domain for your page and store, and 500 email sends a month. Seller fees stay at 9%.
  • Creator Plus, $30/month ($25 yearly): 0% seller fees and unlimited email sends.

Compared with Linktree: Beacons puts more selling tools on its free plan. Linktree removes its own selling fees on Pro ($15/month), while Beacons needs Creator Plus ($30/month) for 0%. If you sell a lot, work out which fee structure costs less at your volume.

3. Carrd: the alternative for a real one-page site

Carrd builds simple one-page websites. A link in bio is just one kind of page you can make, so you can add text, images, forms and sections in any layout.

  • Free plan: up to 3 sites on a carrd.co address.
  • Pro Lite, $9 a year: removes Carrd's branding, for 3 sites.
  • Pro Standard, $19 a year: 10 sites, your own domain, forms and analytics.
  • Pro Plus, $49 a year: 25 sites and more advanced forms.

Compared with Linktree: for $19 a year you get a page on your own domain without any branding, which costs far less than Linktree Pro. The trade-off is time: you design the page yourself, and there is no built-in store.

Instagram lets you add up to five links to your profile. Visitors tap the link line in your bio and choose from the list. If five links are enough and you only use Instagram, you may not need a link in bio service at all.

Compared with Linktree: free and one tap shorter, but the list only shows titles, it works only on Instagram, and you can't design it or reuse it on TikTok, YouTube or anywhere else. To count taps on each link, use short links for them.

5. A page on your own website

If you already have a website, a simple /links page can do everything a link in bio does: your branding, your domain, no monthly fee and no limit on design. Keep it fast and mobile-first, with big buttons and the most important link at the top.

To see which links get tapped, make each button a short link and add a source tag. Our guide to tracking clicks from Instagram, WhatsApp and Telegram explains how.

Compared with Linktree: most control and lowest running cost, but you build and update it yourself.

What a year costs

Branding and your own domain are the two upgrades people pay for most, so here is the cheapest way to get each one with every tool, paid for a full year (US prices on 6 November 2026):

Tool Cheapest plan without the tool's branding Cheapest plan with your own domain
Linktree Pro, $144 a year (billed yearly) Not listed on its pricing page
Beacons Not stated on its pricing page Creator, $100 a year (billed yearly)
Carrd Pro Lite, $9 a year Pro Standard, $19 a year
MiniSnip Not offered; the page shows a small MiniSnip credit Use a short link on your domain (Pro, $228 a year)
Your own website No third-party branding The domain you already own

If your own domain is what you want most, Carrd is by far the cheapest. If you want a link that stays yours whatever page tool you use, put a short link on your own domain in your profiles and point it at any page.

How to move from Linktree without losing visitors

  1. Build the new page first. Copy your links across in the same order, and check each one on your phone.
  2. Leave your Linktree up. Old posts, comments and DMs still point to it, so keep it live while people find the new page.
  3. Put a link you control in your bios. A short link on your own domain, such as go.yourbrand.com/links, lets you switch page tools later by changing one destination instead of every profile.
  4. Update every profile on the same day. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, email signatures and your website footer.
  5. Watch the numbers for a week. If taps on the new page match what you expected, you can retire the old one. Add a single link on the old page pointing to the new one if you want to catch stragglers.

Whatever tool you use, the numbers are only as good as the counting. A link in bio is shared everywhere: in DMs, group chats, comments and stories. Each time it is pasted into WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram or Slack, the app opens it to build a preview. Social networks crawl it. Some email apps open every link to scan it.

None of those are people, but they look like visits. If your page shows more views than your profile has visits, this is usually why. Our guide to who opens your link before any person does lists what each app sends, and how to tell them apart.

How to choose

  • You sell digital products from your bio: Beacons, or Linktree Pro if you prefer its design tools.
  • You want your own domain cheaply: Carrd Pro Standard at $19 a year.
  • You only need a handful of links on Instagram: Instagram's built-in links.
  • You want a simple free page and numbers you can trust: MiniSnip.
  • You have a website already: a links page on it, with short links to measure taps.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best free alternative to Linktree?

It depends on the job. MiniSnip gives a free page with 10 links and counts views and taps without bots. Beacons gives a free page with a store and email list. Carrd gives up to 3 free one-page sites. Instagram lets you show up to 5 links on your profile for free.

How much does Linktree cost?

On its US pricing page in November 2026: Free, Starter at $8 a month, Pro at $15 and Premium at $35, or $6, $12 and $30 a month billed yearly. Outside the US, Linktree shows prices in local currency.

Can I remove the Linktree logo for free?

No. Removing Linktree branding is listed on the Pro plan. Carrd removes its branding from $9 a year, and a page on your own website has no third-party branding at all.

Do I still need Linktree now that Instagram allows 5 links?

Not if five links on Instagram are all you need. A link in bio page is still useful if you want the same page on TikTok, YouTube and other profiles, your own design, or analytics.

Why does my link in bio show more views than my profile visits?

Chat apps, social networks and email scanners open links to build previews or check them, and many tools count those as views. MiniSnip recognises these bots and leaves them out of views and taps.
